The Tennessee Titans have fallen into a familiar pattern of moral victories following their fourth consecutive defeat.
Their 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at Nissan Stadium dropped them to 1-8 heading into the bye week.
The struggles have extended beyond the field as front-office activity picks up with the trade deadline approaching.
Tennessee has become the league’s most contacted team for potential trades according to recent reports.
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini identified four players drawing the most interest from opposing franchises: defensive end Arden Key, linebacker Dre’Mont Jones, running back Tony Pollard, and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat.
The players the Titans are fielding the most calls on:
– DE Arden Key
– LB Dre’Mont Jones
– RB Tony Pollard
– DT T’Vondre Sweathttps://t.co/udXsXx5pJp pic.twitter.com/S9bczQHv9P— Dianna Russini (@DMRussini) November 2, 2025
Jones and Key have been mentioned in trade discussions for several weeks now.
Their names appeared in league conversations even before the Titans moved Roger McCreary to the Rams.
Both players remain logical trade candidates as contending teams seek roster reinforcements for the playoff push.
The inclusion of T’Vondre Sweat on that list raised questions across the organization.
The defensive tackle is only in his second season with Tennessee and has not received extended opportunities to establish himself.
He recorded 51 total tackles during his rookie campaign last year despite missing time this season. Moving a 2024 second-round selection this early in his development would represent an unusual decision.
The running back situation has shifted following Tyjae Spears’s return from injured reserve.
Spears has performed at a level that suggests he could handle a featured role in the offense.
His recent production has created questions about Tony Pollard’s position in the depth chart.
Pollard contributed last season but Spears appears ready to assume greater responsibilities moving forward.
Only two players have been labeled untouchable by the organization, per Russini: rookie quarterback Cam Ward and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons.
Tennessee plans to build its future roster around both players as foundational pieces for the next phase.
