Roldan’s foster mom, Georgina Martinez, recounted the events of Halloween night and the last time she spoke to her foster son, who attended Montgomery High School.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, deputies responded to a report of a shooting just after 11 p.m. on Friday near a house on East Prospect Street. Police say that an initial argument resulted in shots being fired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found two minors with gunshot wounds. Despite officers administering life-saving measures, the two teens died at the hospital, according to authorities.

“We know that someone out there knows who did this, and all we want is justice for him,” Martinez said. “We want to be able to lay him to rest and know that the person who did this had consequences for their actions.”
