The Milwaukee Bucks took down the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, barely beating them 117-115.
Myles Turner was obviously a big part of Milwaukee’s success, and he wasn’t warmly welcomed by Indiana fans while playing on his old home court.
Following his team’s win, Turner spoke about the shower of boos he heard from Pacers fans throughout the game.
Turner wasn’t a fan of the reception and doesn’t understand why it happened.
“It was disheartening, man — it was frustrating. You give 10 years of your life, your blood, your sweat, your tears. You take pay cuts, you survive trade rumors. You try to do everything the right way. Sometimes, stuff shakes out. It’s cool. I’ll take it on the chin. It is what it is. You just move on,” Turner said.

The situation was probably made even worse by the fact that Turner’s family sat courtside during the game, which means they were forced to hear the unfriendly jeers being sent his way.
Aside from the fans, Turner was greeted with love from Pacers members.
He received hugs from Indiana players and even from the father of Tyrese Haliburton.
Turner spent 10 years playing for the Pacers and averaged 14.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for the team during that time.
He was a huge and important part of their team and helped them storm all the way to the NBA Finals last season.
He remains the longest-tenured Pacer in franchise history.
But when it was clear that the Pacers weren’t going to give him the sort of contract he wanted, he weighed his options and chose to sign with the Bucks instead.
A lot of people understand why Turner made that choice, but that doesn’t mean that Indiana fans are happy with it.
