Brock Bowers missed last Sunday’s 40-6 defeat to the Raiders and has not practiced all week.

Head coach Pete Carroll all but confirmed that the star tight end is likely to sit out for a second consecutive game as the injury continues to limit his availability.

This season, Bowers has caught 19 passes for 225 yards across four contests before the knee issue forced him to the sideline.

“Raiders officially ruled out TE Brock Bowers for Sunday’s game against the Titans due to his knee injury,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared on X.

As a rookie last year, Bowers lived up to first-round expectations by recording 131 receptions for 1,419 yards and five touchdowns while earning first-team All-Pro honors.

His absence leaves a significant void in the Raiders’ offensive rhythm, raising questions about who will step up to fill the production gap he typically provides.

Bowers is dealing with a PCL injury and bone bruise in his left knee, both sustained during the Raiders’ season-opening victory over New England, sources told ESPN.

Medical staff have emphasized that full recovery requires complete rest, but Bowers has resisted stepping away from the field despite the lingering discomfort and pain.

There was an encouraging development this week as Carroll shifted Bowers’ status from week-to-week to day-to-day.

The change opens the possibility of a Week 7 return when the Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC West showdown.

Given his offensive impact and the need to reach full health, the organization should prioritize caution over rushing him back into action prematurely.

In Bowers’ absence, tight end Michael Mayer is expected to assume an expanded role if he clears concussion protocol.

Mayer completed two full practices to start the week, suggesting he should be available for Sunday’s matchup against Tennessee.
