POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Pizza lovers, you knead to make your way to Poughkeepsie this winter. The Hudson Valley Pizza Festival is coming to the Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, December 13.
With a general admission ticket, attendees get unlimited pizza sampling from 1 to 5 p.m. before getting to vote for their favorites in several categories. There will be winners for best plain slice, best grandma pizza, best Sicilian, most creative, and best dessert slice.
Specialty dishes like pastas will be available for purchase at the event. For those looking to upgrade their experience, they can get a Craft Paisan Ticket to get unlimited alcohol tastings or the VIP Goomba Ticket to get early entry at noon, a collector’s glass, a VIP lanyard, and exclusive VIP seating.
The festival features live music and special guest appearances. Tickets are available on the Eventbrite website.
