ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– The Albany Police Department is investigating a reported shooting on Lark Street Monday night. According to police, one person sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers said around 9 p.m. on Monday, they responded to Lark Street near Colonie Street for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a 35-year-old man inside his car, with multiple wounds.
According to officers, the victim and another person had been in an altercation at the time of the shooting. The victim retreated to his car and the suspect fled on foot.
Police said the victim was transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital and has been listed in stable condition.
