The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
In the wake of a system that brought us some wet and windy weather yesterday, high pressure brings us some well deserved sunshine today!

After a cool and slightly brisk start to the day, we will warm into the low to mid 60’s across much of the reason. More clouds will start to develop west of Albany in the late afternoon.

After sunset, those clouds will give way to more rounds of showers. The steadiest, most widespread rain will likely pass through between midnight and sunrise.

There will still be on and off showers during the day Wednesday, though not quite as steady as what falls overnight. It may be slightly breezy, but nowhere near as windy as we were on Monday.

A few more rounds of showers are possible north and west of the Capital District Thursday, especially in the Adirondacks and Mohawk Valley. We could all see a few more showers Friday.

Then, we dry out and gradually clear out through the weekend and into the following Monday. Even with the sun, though, it’ll be chilly! Expect morning lows in the 30’s and afternoon highs in the mid 50’s.
