PM Modi Honors India’s Navy During Diwali Aboard Indigenous Aircraft Carrier

Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his annual tradition by celebrating Diwali with Indian Navy personnel onboard INS Vikrant off the coasts of Goa and Karwar, Karnataka. Addressing the sailors, he called it an “amazing day” and expressed gratitude for sharing the festival of lights with the country’s brave defenders. Highlighting the symbolism of the aircraft carrier, India’s first indigenous INS Vikrant, PM Modi said it embodies the strength, skill, and capability of the nation’s armed forces, comparing the sunlit ocean to Diwali lamps lit by these heroes.
