The Los Angeles Rams are quietly one of the best teams in the NFL right now.
Nobody seems to be talking about them as a Super Bowl contender.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford has posted MVP-caliber numbers, and he’s shown no signs of slowing down.
That’s why legendary head coach Bill Belichick recently compared him to NFL legend Tom Brady.
“I don’t want to put him in a class with Tom, but I mean it’s reminiscent of Brady where it just keeps getting better and better and better. He’s gotten smarter. He understands more. He knows how to use his weapons,” Belichick said.

Belichick isn’t one to hand out compliments, and he’s well-known for hidden agendas.
So, given his fallout with Brady during their final seasons with the New England Patriots, this could be seen as a backhanded shot at his former quarterback rather than a compliment to Stafford.
Whatever the case, Stafford might be playing the best football of his long career, which is remarkable considering his recent history of injuries.
The Rams have a stout defense, a roster that combines experience with youth, and one of the sharpest minds leading the way in head coach Sean McVay.
Not many analysts were as high on the Rams as they should’ve been before the season.
Now, after eight games of elite and mistake-free football, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Stafford get back to the Super Bowl one more time.
