The New England Patriots entered the week by trading Kyle Dugger and Deion White, but Kay Adams believes they should push further before Tuesday’s deadline.
With Drake Maye developing at quarterback and a schedule that remains manageable, Adams sees potential for New England to capitalize on their current position.
Adams acknowledged the Patriots are building around young talent, but she also argued that waiting might not be the best approach.
She pointed to specific targets who could immediately elevate the roster and complement the pieces already in place.
“You could make the argument they are not a piece away from making a Super Bowl run, I’m gonna say to that ‘Why the hell not?’ If these Dolphins lose to Baltimore, their season’s essentially over. If the Pats make an aggressive offer, I think Jaylen [Waddle] would be such a good complement [to Diggs] because of what he can do with the ball. Another target that I’m eyeing: Alvin Kamara. If it’s not Kamara, I don’t want them to add a running back,” The “Up & Adams” host said.

Trading Jaylen Waddle within the division would be unusual for the Miami Dolphins, but their current trajectory makes it worth considering.
