Boil water advisory in effect in Whitehall

WHITEHALL, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A boil water advisory is currently in effect in the village of Whitehall, according to the Washington County Department of Public Safety. The notice comes after crews completed water main break repairs on County Route 12 overnight.

The boil water advisory was issued at 5:40 a.m. for all customers beginning at 2711 County Route 12, up to and including the Whitehall Head Start campus. Those affected should bring all tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute and then cool before use or use bottled water.

The issue remains in effect until further notice. Stay with NEWS10 for any updates.
