CBA glides past Guilderland, 42-7

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The CBA football team entered the week atop Class AA in Section 2, unbeaten in the league with a 4-0 record. Guilderland found themselves tied with Shaker for the fourth and final playoff spot with three games to go in the regular season. CBA visited Guilderland on Friday night.

Archie Jones linked up with Gavin Potter for a long touchdown to put CBA up early. Thomas Toher added a touchdown on the ground to give the Brothers a 14-0 lead heading into the second quarter.

In the second, Jones found JT Vogel for another long touchdown connection to put CBA up 21-0. The Brothers cruised from there on the way to a 42-7 win.

CBA improves to 5-0 in league play, while Guilderland drops to 2-3 – tied with Shaker and Colonie for the fourth and final playoff spot.
