UTICA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Defense attorneys representing the three former correction officers are making closing arguments in the Marcy Prison Trial.
Lawyers for David Kingsley, Matthew Galliher, and Nicholas Kieffer will each argue that the role of their clients in the brutal beating of inmate Robert Brooks was minimal.

After the closing arguments, the jury will be formally charged by the judge. Judge Robert Bauer will instruct the jury on their duties and educate them on the elements of the charges needed to convict the defendants.
