KTTC reports: Microplastics have been found in a southern Minnesota lake and waterways throughout the state. “A recent study by the Environment Minnesota Research and Policy Center sampled 41 waterways over the summer of 2025 and tested them for four types of microplastic pollution. … Forty of them contained microplastics, including Rochester’s Cascade Lake.”
KARE 11 reports: The Louvre robbery is making headlines, but years ago there was also an art heist here in the state. “Nearly 50 years ago, thieves broke into the Elayne Galleries in St. Louis Park and stole more than half a million dollars’ worth of work. To this day, it’s known as the largest art heist in Minnesota.”
