Doc Rivers knows that his Milwaukee Bucks have to exceed expectations in the new season, and that means they need all the help they can get.

Rivers is very happy with what he’s seen from the latest Buck, Myles Turner.

Speaking to the press, he praised Turner and commented on what a great fit he is alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“He’s great for this team. I couldn’t have thought of a better person that fits Giannis. He’s just really good for us,” Rivers said of Turner.

That sounds very promising, but there are still fans concerned about the road ahead for the Bucks.

Turner certainly does bring a lot to the team, and he’s been a huge part of the Indiana Pacers for years.

Last season, Turner put up 15.6 points and 6.5 rebounds on the way to his team’s run in the NBA Finals.

He’s a two-time blocking champion and one of the more consistent big men in the league.

Still, he may not be enough to turn Milwaukee around.

It’s clear that the Bucks have a singular goal: an appearance in the NBA Finals.

Anything short of that could result in Antetokounmpo leaving the team in the offseason.

Therefore, they need Turner to look as good, if not better, than he was in Indiana.

He has to be a great fit with Antetokounmpo, and the rest of the roster also has to impress.

If everyone is playing at 100 percent and performing to the best of their abilities, the Bucks might have a chance.

But if they aren’t delivering like they need to, it could lead to a short run in the playoffs and the end of the road for Antetokounmpo.
