Deadly motorcycle crash near San Jose High School

(KRON) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with another vehicle near the intersection of 24th Street and Bulldog Boulevard near San Jose High School Friday evening, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The crash happened around 5:48 p.m. The male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. SJPD said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

24th Street remains closed from St. James Street to St. John Street.

“Please avoid the area and use alternate routes,” SJPD said.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
