Man shot, killed during argument in Bucktown home

A man was killed in a shooting in a Bucktown home Friday night.

The man, 53, was arguing with a person inside a home about 10:35 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Leavitt Street, Chicago police said.

Shortly after, the argument turned physical and the person pulled out a gun and shot the man several times in the body, police said.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.

The person was placed in custody, police said. Charges were pending.
