FONDA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Fonda-Fultonville football team is ranked third in the state in Class C. Entering the Section 2, Class C playoffs as the top seed out of the West Division, the Valley Hawks showed Friday night in the quarterfinals why they’re so highly rated.
Fonda flew past Watervliet/Heatly, 49-0. Colin Pickering led the way with three touchdowns on the ground.
The Valley Hawks will learn their semifinal opponent Saturday. They’ll host the winner of Johnstown and Granville-Whitehall on Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
