A 9-year-old Class 4 student, died after jumping from the fourth floor of a prestigious school building in Jaipur. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows her climbing over a railing while other students nearby walk normally. Police said girl had gone to the washroom around noon before making her way to the fourth floor, even though her classroom was on the ground floor. Mansarovar Police Station in-charge Lakhan Khatana told NDTV that preliminary evidence suggests suicide, but the girl’s parents have filed an FIR, alleging suspicious circumstances and seeking an inquiry into the school’s role and possible negligence.
