Holiday market, festival coming to Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The holiday season is upon us and the city of Albany is ready to celebrate. For four days throughout November and December, the Deck the Hall-bany Holiday Market & Festival will bring holiday cheer to downtown.

The event will take place on Nov. 22, Nov. 29, Dec. 6 (in conjunction with the annual Hot Chocolate Stroll) and Dec 13. Each week will feature more than 30 vendors selling items like handcrafted art and jewelry, home goods and seasonal products, as well as food trucks and baked goods shops.

Additionally, attendees will be able to enjoy live music and pop-up shows. Free hot chocolate will be also available for everyone.

The festival and market, located at the Clinton Market Collective and Quackenbush Square, will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each week. The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District is still looking for general vendors, food vendors and food trucks to participate in the event. Applications can be found online and must be submitted by Wednesday.
