Ime Udoka thinks that his Houston Rockets are one of the best teams in the NBA and feels they can fight past anyone and make the NBA Finals.
He believes they are so good, in fact, that other teams are attempting to be like them.
Speaking to the media, Udoka touched upon how other franchises are trying to mimic Houston’s style.
“It’s a copycat league, honestly. Someone sees something that works, they’re probably trying to employ the same thing. Everybody’s trying to be like us. They can’t really do it like us, but take a little pride I guess,” Udoka said.

The Rockets are a big and powerful team.
Their star center is Aleperen Sengun, but others like Clint Capela, and Steven Adams also bring great size.
Even Kevin Durant is a large player, who makes this team even more impressive and intimidating.
Udoka believes he has the roster the Rockets have always needed, and he predicts great things from them in 2025-26.
He also thinks that everyone else in the NBA will try to copy the sucecss they find.
But just because the Rockets have a lot of size that makes others jealous doesn’t mean they will be runaway favorites in the West.
That’s a tough conference and Houston has its fair share of problems, especially with Fred VanVleet out all season due to injury.
Their playmaking and ball-handling will be impacted by that, and it could really hold the team back.
Still, there is no doubt that the Rockets are one of the most exciting teams in their conference and many, including Udoka, thinks this year will be a huge one.
