Perhaps LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers should avoid making any more “decisions.”
The whole NBA world was on high alert recently when James declared he was going to reveal a massive, career-changing decision.
But it wasn’t like the one from years ago when he announced he was headed to a new team.
Instead, it was simply an ad for Hennessy, and all the worries were for nothing.
Lou Williams isn’t too happy with James and his marketing choice, saying that the Lakers legend should have considered his young fanbase.
“You have kids waiting to hear your decision, and you’re inviting them to a Hennessy party,” Williams said.

This wasn’t the first time that James brought a lot of attention to an ad, but it didn’t sit right with millions of people.
Countless fans thought James was going to announce his retirement, which obviously would have completely shaken the league.
Meanwhile, others suspected that he was just setting up for a marketing ploy.
Sure enough, this wasn’t anything serious, and that is what rubbed people the wrong way.
Many of James’ fans can’t even enjoy the product he was advertising, which only makes this situation worse.
Years ago, James upset people when he made his move to the Miami Heat a major spectacle, and this stunt also angered fans.
James likely won’t do something like this again, especially at his age and following this response.
The next time he says there will be a big announcement or “decision,” it’ll probably be a real one related to his final stint in the league.
