Apparently, Justin Jefferson can do it all. He doesn’t just run some of the smoothest routes or find the softest spots against zone coverage in his day job of wide receiver; he also might have some real acting chops, at least if you dress him up enough.

Justin Jefferson has been featured in plenty of commercials for companies such as Little Caesars and Pepsi, but recently, he was given a star role in Eli Manning’s Amazon Prime Video production, “The Undercovers“. The all-world wide receiver was disguised as a photographer under the alter-ego Darius Frost.

The episode saw Mr. Frost lead a photoshoot for some headshots of Minnesota Vikings General Manager and face that runs the place, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. The episode was full of hilarious commentary from Jefferson (or Mr. Frost if you will), including intentional mispronunciations of Adofo-Mensah’s first name (“Kweesi”), discussing the $140 million contract that Adofo-Mensah himself helped orchestrate, and Darius Frost’s usual gig of “bird photography”.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah had zero idea that he was actually talking to Justin Jefferson throughout the entire ordeal, and it made for an awkward yet hilarious several minutes of television. Jefferson had it all; the production team did a great job with the disguise, and he himself changed his voice just enough not to be obvious to those who didn’t know him, leading Adofo-Mensah to talk about his daily duties without being too revealing.

The Vikings’ general manager was fooled until the two met and shook hands after the photoshoot was done. Adofo-Mensah had a hilarious reaction, admitting that it did kind of look like Jefferson and that everything that was being said during the duration of the entire photoshoot made sense. Adofo-Mensah wasn’t the only one fooled; even some of Justin Jefferson’s Vikings teammates were stumped when shown a picture of him.

Obviously, this won’t lead to any big-time acting roles for Jettas, but it is a true piece of art that will live forever in the lore of the Minnesota Vikings organization. Memes are already being thrown all around social media as Vikings fans ate up the interaction between the two integral forces within the walls of TCO Performance Center.

This wasn’t the only part of a great last couple of weeks of PR for the superstar; it was also reported that Justin Jefferson sits alone at the top of NFL jersey sales in Europe as the league continues to try to build a blueprint to introduce more games to the Eastern Hemisphere, as well as a Super Bowl and even a potential expansion team. Legendary Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald also named Justin Jefferson as the best wideout in the NFL today on a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show.

Quite the stretch of publicity for one of the NFL’s best and brightest young stars.
