Saturday will mark the second No Kings Day protest since President Donald Trump took office, and dozens of marches are expected throughout Minnesota alone. KARE 11 reports that nationwide “more than 2,500 individual events are registered with the organization’s website, with at least one in every U.S. state and commonwealth.”

MPR News details how rural doctors are battling misinformation on the job. Dr. Banu Symington is “among many doctors who say political attacks on science and medicine are affecting their relationships with patients, particularly in rural communities, where physician recruitment already poses a chronic challenge.”

A new tourism report is detailing the impacts tariffs are having on Minnesota businesses. KSTP writes “Hospitality Minnesota heard from 135 businesses across the state. Most of the businesses that were surveyed saw a decline in sales this summer, adding that higher costs for products and wage increases have also posed a challenge.”

We may be nowhere close to spring, but a famous Minnesota house that was a telltale sign the season was around the corner is now up for sale. WCCO TV reports “the East Isles neighborhood home that blooms with hundreds of flowers every year is now up for sale. … The duplex at the corner of West 25th Street and Humboldt Avenue South is listed for $650,000. But it won’t include the tulips, which are typically replanted each fall.”
