Man fatally shot in Roseland

A man was shot and killed Friday afternoon in Roseland on the Far South Side.

The 32-year-old was sitting in a car about 2:20 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Princeton Avenue when multiple people approached him and fired shots, Chicago police said.

The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No one is in custody, and Area 2 detectives are investigating.
