There is a very good chance that Giannis Antetokounmpo is entering his final season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The writing is on the wall, and the rumors are endless.

Despite that, Antetokounmpo says that he is a “loyal” player who still wants to achieve everything he can with this team.

“I’m loyal. Milwaukee gave me everything. They changed my life and my family’s life. I want to live in the moment. I want to win another championship with the Bucks,” Antetokounmpo said.

Living in the moment is a smart approach to this season because Antetokounmpo should take things one day at a time, one game at a time.

However, this statement from him probably won’t ease the nerves or worried fans.

The stories about Antetokounmpo possibly leaving are impossible to ignore, and they seem to be multiplying every day.

Plus, other NBA players have made comments like this one before ultimately leaving their teams.

Loyalty is one thing, but Antetokounmpo’s desire to become a champion again is something else entirely.

He has indeed been loyal to this team – and patient – but his time with the Bucks may be coming to an end.

Critical eyes will be watching the team during every single game, and each win and loss will be inspected and analyzed.

By the time the trade deadline gets close in February, Antetokounmpo’s plans might be clearer.

No matter what happens, it sounds like Antetokounmpo will always hold a special place in his heart for this team.

It is where he got his start and where he won his first championship, but it still might be time for him to move on.
