ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Happy Friday! Meteorologist Matt Mackie says there is a chance for some afternoon rain, but temperatures are expected to gradually rise, reaching a high of 56, before dropping overnight.

1. Body found in search for Middlebury College student

Members of the Vermont State Police Search and Rescue team located a body Thursday afternoon while searching for a missing Middlebury College student. The body was found around 1:30 p.m. in the town of Cornwall near The Knoll, the college’s organic farm.

2. Viral local rappers visit Troy High School to inspire young creatives

A group of local rappers became an upstate viral sensation with their rap, “Take me down to Stewys.” They visited Troy High School Thursday to share their story with student journalists.

3. Troy man charged with manslaughter

Police arrested a Troy man on Wednesday as a result of a death investigation. Donald McIntosh Jr., 51, was charged with second-degree manslaughter.

4. Albany 16-year-old indicted for murder of other teen

The Albany County District Attorney’s Office (ACDA) confirmed on Thursday that a teen was arraigned in an Albany homicide case. The 16-year-old, whose name was not released due to their age, faces a four-count indictment which includes one count of second-degree murder.

5. June Farms reality show coming to Prime Video

June Farms is 120 acres and is settled in the hills of West Sand Lake. It has quickly become one of the most sought-after destinations for a wedding or family outing in Upstate New York. And now, the farm is about to hit the big time with their very own reality show on Prime Video.
