The start of the 2025-26 season has been a bummer for the Brooklyn Nets.
Although most fans expected a bad season, all of them wanted to see at least a single win by this point.
Sadly, the Nets are now 0-4 and have produced a lackluster defense.

It all started with a 136-117 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Opening Night, then a defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets.
Next up for them will be the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Indiana Pacers.
The Nets will be able to secure a win at some point, but it’s not clear when that will happen.
If they cannot get a handle on their defense and continue to give up hundreds of points across multiple games, they could face one of their worst records ever.
There are valid reasons to be excited about this team, and there have been some impressive performances during these four losses.
Cam Thomas, for example, scored 40 points against the Spurs a few nights ago.
Sadly, he only put up nine points during Monday night’s game against the Rockets.
There are also a few promising rookies in the lineup, which means the future of the team could be something special.
But in the present, things aren’t looking great for Brooklyn.
Everyone knew it wasn’t going to be easy for this team, but few people thought it would look this bleak right away.
Fans are hoping to see the Nets turn a corner, but they know they may have to wait a while for that.
