(KRON) — A car owner is seeking the community’s help in recovering their car that was stolen in Hayward early Monday morning. Their car is a red 2019 Honda Civic Type R with the license plate 9FKN270.

According to the Hayward Police Department, the car was stolen at around 4:50 a.m. when it was parked on the street at 27843 Ormond Ave. Police said a white sedan with an unknown license plate is a possible suspect vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle said the car was in the auto body shop for two months. It was stolen in less than three days the repairs were done. The now car-less owner is calling this a “stressful and nerve-wracking time.”
