The Green Bay Packers had a few potential pain points on their roster heading into the 2025 NFL season, at least in the eyes of the general public.

Many believed that the Packers didn’t have the wide receiver room to compete with the best teams in the league, that Jordan Love’s supporting cast was too weak.

Fast forward to Week 6, and that no longer appears to be the case.

The Packers might not have the dominant and clear-cut WR1 that so many teams have, but Love has taken an approach to spread the ball out, trusting many of his teammates with the ball in their hands.

This was put on full display by analyst Jacob Morley’s latest post on X, where he noted that the Packers are one of only two teams in the league with four players who have 14 or more receptions and over 175 receiving yards.

They join the San Francisco 49ers in this category, another team that has had to spread the ball out, mostly due to necessity.

The Packers’ core four have been Romeo Doubs, Tucker Kraft, Josh Jacobs, and Matthew Golden.

Having a running back and tight end in the top four of receiving yards could be viewed as a weakness, but the Packers have used this as a strength.

Kraft and Jacobs have been instrumental in the passing game, as have Doubs and Golden, and this team isn’t even at full strength yet.

Once Christian Watson and Jayden Reed are healthy, this offense could take another leap, making them that much more difficult to defend down the stretch.
