The Los Angeles Rams are going to face arguably the worst defense in the National Football League in Week 6.
The Baltimore Ravens have failed to get any sort of momentum going on defense, and without Lamar Jackson, the team as a whole will be in for a long day.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Marc Ross believes that Puka Nacua could be in for a record-breaking evening.
In his latest column, he shared quite a bold prediction about the Rams’ star pass-catcher:
Of course, Nacua has already shown that he’s more than capable of doing so.
Then again, this might not be the game to do it.
If the Rams dominate the Ravens as expected, they will most likely look to just squeeze the clock with the running game, thus not giving Nacua as many chances as he would usually get.
Granted, Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay are both ruthless and would keep feeding Nacua if needed, even in a blowout, but that doesn’t make much sense in a Week 6 game.
This prediction would be more likely to happen if Jackson were healthy, but that’s unfortunately not the case.
Even so, the Ravens’ defense made C.J. Stroud look good again, and that’s despite his season-long struggles and playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the game.
So, who knows? Maybe Stafford and Nacua will connect for another historic day.
Whatever the case, they will be must-watch television, just like they are every week.
