Poll: Have city officials done enough to address opioid epidemic?

With recent reporting detailing the Mass and Cass spillover’s negative effects on South End residents, the Herald is asking our readers in our latest poll if enough has been done to combat the opioid epidemic.

The open-air drug use, dealing and crime spillover over into the South End has infuriated residents, with some saying that they see moving out as their only solution.

Boston Police Department statistics also suggested a surge of arrests in the South End this summer, reflecting just how much the drug use, crime and violence has worsened.
