San Francisco resident arrested for Daly City stabbing, cell phone robbery

(KRON) — A 28-year-old San Francisco resident has been arrested by Daly City police following an altercation where they allegedly stabbed someone then stole their cell phone.

Daly City police officers responded to the incident last Saturday at 7:34 p.m. in the area of Mission Street and Evergreen Avenue.

The victim had reportedly been stabbed near the 6100 block of Mission Street and sustained “multiple injuries,” according to investigators.

Police said the suspect also made off with the victim’s phone, which was later recovered by a Daly City police sergeant. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where their condition was not disclosed.

It is not yet clear what led to the incident.

Police said the suspect was later identified and taken into custody Tuesday. They face several charges, including robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
