The expectations for Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks were sky-high, with some people calling him the most compelling NBA rookie in years.
So far, Flagg has shown why the Mavericks and the rest of the league are so excited for him.
On Sunday night, Flagg posted 22 points, four rebounds, and four assists with zero turnovers.
That makes him the second player in league history at 18 years or younger to record a game with 20+ points and zero turnovers.
The only other player to achieve this was Kobe Bryant all the way back in 1997.

During his first three games, Flagg has averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists on 43.9 percent from the field.
He has already shown that he’s someone special, a young player who is capable of explosive output on both ends of the court.
The fact that he is able to score this much without a single turnover is quite remarkable.
It proves that even against seasoned vets with years of defensive experience, Flagg can still be in control and can find a way to get past them and score.
After his first game, Flagg said he was intent on getting better, and he has shown progress and growth during the last two matches.
His team has experienced some problems and is currently 1-2, but the win on Sunday night was a significant one.
It put them on the right track, and it gave Flagg a chance to earn his place in the history books.
This year’s rookie class is very talented and competitive, and the race for Rookie of the Year is going to be intense for the entire season.
But Flagg just made a statement with this game, and he could be on his way to winning that prize.
