Siena University, Union College launch winter sport ticket bundle

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Siena University and Union College are offering college winter sport fans a chance to bundle tickets to one basketball and hockey game this season for one price. Siena University officials announced on Wednesday that the Hoops and Hockey package is a new partnership between the college and the university for NCAA Division I college athletics.

For $45, fans can get one Siena Men’s Basketball game ticket and also a chance to experience the new home for Union Men’s Hockey at M&T Bank Center. Or for $40, fans can get a pair of tickets to a Siena Women’s Basketball and Union Women’s Hockey games.

“We congratulate Union College on opening their new arena and welcome the chance to offer our fans a trip across town to enjoy Garnet Charger hockey alongside the thrills of Siena Basketball,” Siena University Vice President and Director of Athletics John D’Argenio said. “Siena and Union both have a rich history in the Capital Region, and we’re eager to showcase an affordable and engaging experience for both fanbases.”

• Monday, November 3 vs. Bryant at 7 p.m.
• Friday, January 9 vs. Merrimack at 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, January 14 vs. Sacred Heart at 7 p.m.
• Thursday, January 22 vs. Marist at 7 p.m.
• Thursday, February 5 vs. Iona at 7 p.m.
• Sunday, March 1 vs. Rider at 2 p.m.

Union Men’s Hockey

• Friday, November 14 vs. UMass Lowell at 7 p.m.
• Friday, December 12 vs. Alaska Fairbanks at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, December 13 vs. Alaska Fairbanks at 5 p.m.
• Friday, January 16 vs. Brown at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, January 17 vs. Yale at 5 p.m.

Siena Women’s Basketball

• All games except January 8, 10, and 31

Union Women’s Hockey

• All games except January 10 and 31.

Anyone who purchases a ticket package receives a Union College hockey puck and a drink koozie, in addition to a commemorative Siena University hat and pennant. Ticket package games are listed above, and packages can be purchased online through Siena University’s website or by calling Siena Fan Relations Management Center at (518) 487-2202.
