Sunshine returns to Bay Area Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Plenty of sunshine returns to the Bay Area Tuesday. Daytime highs reach back into the 80s inland, but cooler towards the coast, with highs falling back into the 60s out that direction.

Some coastal fog is expected mostly along the San Mateo County coast down towards Monterey County. After Tuesday, we will see gradual cooling across the board with daytime highs by the weekend only in the 60s.

The best opportunities for rainfall can be expected Friday night into Saturday morning and again into Sunday.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 7:24 a.m. Sunset is at 6:24 p.m.
