(KRON) — Police in the North Bay announced Thursday a boy has been arrested in connection to a school bomb threat that was made in late August.
On the morning of August 27, Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo dismissed all of its classes out of an abundance of caution after it received a bomb threat. Students and family were reunited at the Red Hill Shopping Center as the Central Marin Police Authority conducted a systematic search of the campus.
No explosive devices or suspicious materials were located in the search of the school building and surrounding campus grounds, police said.
Through its investigation, police obtained search warrants and identified a 17-year-old boy believed to have made the false report. The boy, who was not identified due to his age, was arrested and booked into the Marin County Juvenile Hall for making a false bomb threat.
