Organised by Dubai Sports Council, with UAE Basketball Association as technical partners and Sport360X and Sports Mania both operational partners, this year’s competition once again brings together some of the city’s most prominent academies and clubs.
Among the 2025/26 Term 1 participants are Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club, alongside leading academies including JAM, NBA Basketball School, Champs, Dubai Basketball Club, Al Riyadi, Wildcats, Game Time Sports, Triple Threat, A2Z Sports Academy, Hoopsterz and Twenty Four Basketball Academy.
Running from October 11-December 7, the third edition features 92 teams and 1,764 players competing across 301 games, including the finals – making it one of the UAE’s largest and most competitive youth basketball events.

This term is divided into two sub-leagues – Division 1 and Division 2 – featuring categories for both boys and girls:
Division 1: U-8 Mix, U-10 Mix, U-12 Boys, U-12 Girls, U-14 Boys, U-14 Girls, U-16 Boys, U-16 Girls, U-19 Boys
Division 2: U-12 Boys, U-14 Boys, U-16 Boys, U-16 Girls
Games are hosted across three leading venues – Citizens School, Swiss International Scientific School and Al Nasr Club – providing professional-level environments for young athletes to compete and grow.
Now in its third year, DOBA continues to serve as the UAE’s premier youth basketball platform, fostering development, teamwork and sportsmanship among the next generation.
