The New Orleans Saints may have found their quarterback.
So far, Spencer Rattler has fared much better than anticipated, and while he’s clearly not perfect, he’s looking like someone who is worth giving a chance to.
Nevertheless, that hasn’t always translated into success on the field.
That’s why, with their slide in the standings, other teams will look to make the most of their situation to try and pry some veterans away.
With that in mind, it’s not much of a surprise to hear that multiple teams are keeping tabs on free agent-to-be Rashid Shaheed.
Several players have been the subject of trade calls including Saints WR Rashid Shaheed, per @RapSheet

Shaheed burst onto the scene as a playmaking wide receiver last season.
His big-play expertise is certainly worth considering, and with multiple Super Bowl contenders looking to add firepower to their passing games, he could be a solid pickup.
So far, he’s hauled in 22 receptions on 30 targets for 288 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
The Saints are one of the leading candidates to get either the No. 1 pick or one of the top three picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, and barring a shocking turn of events, that’s not likely to change at any point in the season, not even if they win in Week 6 or 7.
The trade deadline is closing in, and players like Alvin Kamara or even Chris Olave will most likely be tangled up in trade rumors.
But if they want to hold onto their franchise players, that will leave Shaheed as one of the most obvious trade candidates for this team.
