SHARON SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A third-prize winning Powerplay ticket was sold in Sharon Springs. According to the New York Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at a Stewart’s Shops on Highway 20.
The lottery said the winning ticket was worth $100,000. The winning numbers for the Powerball are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is then drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
The Powerplay option allows players a chance to multiply their winnings up to 10 times. The winning ticket was then drawn during the October 11 Powerball drawing.
