The Minnesota Star Tribune has a roundup of the multiple anti-Trump “No Kings” protests that took place Sunday throughout the state. The largest gathering was in downtown Minneapolis’ Commons park, where FOX 9 reports that over 100,000 people were in attendance

The weather was spectacular this weekend, but if you weren’t able to get outside, you can live vicariously through this photo essay on fall colors along the St. Criox River via MPR News.

Earlier this week we reported on the challenges Minnesota soybean farmers are facing. On Saturday, “the Free Trade Motorcade, a 14-state, 2,500-mile tour across the United States that aims to amplify farmer voices calling for open markets and reduced trade barriers in the country,” came to Lakeville to focus on “was soybeans and tariffs on China,” according to KSTP.

The Pioneer Press has a breakdown of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s 2024 Uniform Crime Report, which “showed that violent crime in the seven-county Metro area — Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties — increased by 1% overall compared to 2023. In greater Minnesota, violent crime numbers decreased by 3%.”
