Warren County mourning the loss of former County Clerk

WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Warren County officials announced on Thursday the passing of the former County Clerk. Pam Vogel had served for nearly five decades with the county before retiring at the end of 2023.

County officials reported Vogel passed away on Monday at 75 years old. Vogel spent 48 years working for Warren County, including her roles as Records Technician, Records Manager, and County Historian.

“Pamela Vogel was, quite simply, the very best of Warren County. For over four decades, she dedicated her entire professional existence to this community. For two decades, she served as our unwavering Warren County Clerk, an office she ran with integrity and professionalism. Her name became synonymous with the efficient, smooth function of our local government. She was a pillar of our operations, but more importantly, a pillar to our community. Pam saw her work not merely as a job, but as a covenant with the people she served. She set a standard of excellence that will stand as her enduring legacy,” said Warren County Clerk Carrie Black, who succeeded Vogel in 2024.
