OCEAN BEACH – The 24th edition of the Ocean Beach Oktoberfest didn’t disappoint last Friday and Saturday as steins of beer were drained, pounds of brats were consumed, pretzels were tossed, bands roared, mechanical bulls were ridden, and Mr. and Ms. Oktoberfest were crowned during two days of buzzed frivolity.

Two Ocean Beach residents became royalty on Saturday – Joe Wesolek claimed his beer-soaked title as Mr. Oktoberfest, and Tara Murphy held off the competition to become Ms. Oktoberfest.

Prost!
